Liver Disease and a cirrhosis diet plan

It’s not uncommon for people with liver cirrhosis to become malnourished due to changes in their metabolism and digestive issues that occur as the liver becomes more damaged. As such, if you have this condition, what you eat and drink each day is especially important, particularly as components like protein, sodium, and sugar require your liver to work harder. Stages of Liver Disease:

Stage 1 :Inflammation. …

Stage 2: Fibrosis. …

Stage 3: Cirrhosis. …

Stage 4: Liver Failure

Start Self-Care at Home for Cirrhosis

A/Stop drinking alcohol! Eat a balanced diet with adequate calories and protein.Cut down on salt if you are having problems with fluid retention.

B/Because cirrhosis can impair your immune function, it’s also best to avoid raw or undercooked meat, eggs, and seafood.

C/Avoid medications that may be harmful to your liver, such as acetaminophen (Tylenol), or your kidneys, such as ibuprofen.

A cirrhosis diet plan should be crafted with the help of your healthcare provider, to ensure that you’re adequately nourished and avoiding choices that can worsen your condition and otherwise impact your health. Try eating small, frequent meals and snacks throughout the day.

Be careful of supplements that contain a lot of synthetics vitamin A, which can be toxic to the liver. You will also want to check with your healthcare provider before starting any supplements containing iron, which can be hard for the liver to process in high doses.Sodium is generally restricted for someone with cirrhosis because it leads to fluid retention.

What to Eat

If you’re following a cirrhosis diet, there are some foods and beverages you’ll need to strictly avoid. However, you’ll have your choice of many nutritious and tasty foods, including fresh produce, whole grains, and plant-based protein.

TIP. Antioxidants and anti-inflammatory foods protect liver cells, whole foods and essential nutrients like lean protein, omega 3 fatty acids, and B vitamins support liver function. Conversely, alcohol, processed foods, and trans fats can harm the liver.

Fruits and vegetables: Choose fresh produce when possible. Add fruit to cereal or oats for extra nutrition, fiber, and a little natural sweetness. Fiber-rich fruits like apples make a healthy and satisfying snack on their own.

Dairy:Stick to low-fat Greek yogurt, small portions of low-sodium hard cheese, and fortified dairy-free milk alternatives like almond or soy. Full-fat dairy products will likely be too hard for your body to digest.

Grains: Choose whole-grain bread, pasta, brown rice, and cereal instead of those made with refined white flour.

Protein:Small servings of lean poultry without the skin, some types of fresh-caught fish (such as salmon), and eggs or egg whites may be suitable. Red meat isn’t approved for a cirrhosis diet, nor is any kind of processed lunch meat or sausage.

Desserts: Packaged cake, cookie, brownie, biscuit, pancake, and waffle mixes can be high in sugar and salt, so it’s best to avoid them. In general, you’ll want to avoid pastries, doughnuts, and muffins, unless you can make your own low-fat, low-sugar, and low-salt versions.

Beverages: You cannot drink alcohol if you have liver cirrhosis, but you’ll have plenty of other options. Water is the most hydrating choice, but if you are on a low-sodium diet, you’ll want to check the labels on bottled water as some contain sodium.  Consume pasteurized milk and juice . Some research has suggested coffee.

As we know, the majority of civilisation illnesses are the result of an improper way of life, inflammation and excessive quantities of toxins in the organism; and to treat only the symptoms will never provide good results. Source:  Google.com, wikipedia.com,

Do you often feel dizzy?

Do you wake up at night, get up and fall, feel sick and can’t get up? If you are being treated for high blood pressure, you must first rule out a stroke or heart attack.

Chest pain, shortness of breath or nausea and dizziness. This is how a heart attack is described, but it is certainly not all symptoms. Why is this important? If you have 15 or 20 minutes of pain in a specific place from which you cannot be relieved and various shoots into the surroundings, the condition is highly suspicious and it is definitely necessary to seek medical attention immediately. Weakness, dizziness and heavy breathing: When it occurs at night, it can be a heart attack. Read More.

PPVWhat are the other causes of dizziness and why do acute conditions need to be addressed quickly at neurology?A neurologist should perform an ultrasound examination of the cerebral supply vessels. If it is normal, it can be vertigo, which affects older patients over 50 years of age, but young people are no exception today. One of the causes is VERTIGO.

The most common variants of the disease:
1/ True vertigo, or vertigo, is only the illusion of movement of one’s own body or objects around us. “Sometimes it is difficult to get an accurate description of the difficulties from the patient. The balance is ensured by multiple sensors and it is a complex process. In the case of vertigo, it is not directly a disease, but a symptom of the disease (symptoms of vertigo occur in up to 100 diseases as a concomitant symptom). Read More.

2/ Postial dizziness (often called benign paroxysmal positional vertigo or BPPV is one of the most common causes of dizziness. This condition is characterized by a sudden sensation of rotation or movement, which is triggered by a change in the position of the head. It can include symptoms such as nausea and loss of balance. A typical symptom of vertigo is lightheadedness, a feeling of instability and sinking in space, sometimes nausea. Twenty years ago, vertigo was often diagnosed as Ménière’s disease and its treatment was not very successful. Today, the situation is different. We are bringing hope! Over the years, doctors have recognized a common type of dizziness, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. A stray stone in the ear is responsible for the discomfort. And you need to get it to the right place. It is a bit like ball football.

How to move a stone?
There are three canals in the inner ear, each of which responds to the rotation of the head in different directions. Their proper function allows us to fix our eyes at a certain point when we are moving. Thanks to this, we can, for example, read the inscription on a sign while walking. Otoliths, or calcium carbonate crystals, can get into these channels. The problem arises when they irritate the hair cells when moving the head, which the patient feels as intense short-term dizziness and dizziness.
Therefore, BPPV vertigo is treated when the position of the head is changed by so-called reduction maneuvers.

How is the procedure performed in practice?
The whole intervention can be simply described as the patient sitting on the bed, then laying him down sharply while still watching his eyes, which show us what the stone looks like at the moment, whether it has already fallen into the right channel. It really resembles a ball football puzzle.
What are the other causes of dizziness and why do acute conditions need to be addressed quickly at neurology? To be continued…

Skin allergies in children

Skin allergies are the most common allergies in children. The second most common is food. Respiratory allergies, which are more common among older children, is the third most common.

Skin allergies in children are an immune response to certain substances, known as allergens, which the body perceives as harmful. They manifest on the skin in various forms, such as rashes, hives, eczema, and contact dermatitis. It’s crucial to consult your child’s healthcare provider if your child’s symptoms persist, worsen, or interfere with their daily activities. Remember, early detection and treatment are key in managing skin allergies in children.

TiP. Cut out the confectionery, sweets, and sugar content in food. Add honey to food or drink. Do not use a toxin home cleaner. Restrict a stay in a smoky and dirty environment.

CAUSES

Allergies occur when the body negatively reacts to certain substances.

These can include, but aren’t limited to:

dust mites

dyes

food

fragrances

latex

mold

pet dander

pollen

In some cases, skin allergy symptoms show up when the skin comes into direct contact with an external substance. In other cases, the allergen may be ingested or inhaled. Signs may also appear in conjunction with other types of allergy symptoms, such as headaches, congestion, sneezing, and runny nose.

How can allergies affect your child’s skin?

If your child comes in contact with an allergen, they may develop contact dermatitis. Their skin may appear red,  itchy, scaly,  bumpy, swollen, they touch, inhale, or eat an allergen, they can also develop hives.  These are raised welts that can develop on their skin, and they’re almost always itchy. Some children with allergies also develop eczema. This condition causes their skin to become inflamed, itchy, and irritated, even when they haven’t made contact with an allergen.

Treatment: You can treat allergic contact dermatitis by:

  • avoiding the irritant
  • applying prescription steroid cream
  • healing the skin with medications
  • taking antihistamines to relieve itching

How do you find out what your child is allergic to?

Sometimes all your doctor needs to do is take a good history to help decide what your child should avoid. A good history is where your doctor listens to your concerns, ideas, and expectations. Your child’s history may be enough for the doctor to help suggest what to eliminate first.  Not all skin reactions are allergic reactions. Your doctor can help determine the cause of your child’s skin reaction.

If a test for allergies is needed, your doctor will usually do a patch test or a skin prick test. The process involves the introduction of small amounts of allergens into the skin. If a reaction occurs, then your child may have an allergy to the substance. Your doctor will use various substances based on environment and family history. Sometimes a blood test is used for diagnosis, but these may be less accurate, particularly in very young children.

How do you manage skin allergies?

Skin allergies happen at any age, but the CDC says they are most common in young children. Thankfully, the severity tends to decrease with age. But it’s still important to address any unusual skin changes in your child early before complications ensue. Proactive measures are important in preventing recurring skin allergy symptoms in your children. Even if a rash goes away, it can come back if your child is exposed to certain triggers again. The best way to treat these allergies is to detect the cause early and prevent it from getting worse. Work with a pediatrician to make sure your treatment addresses all of your concerns and issues.

Eczema

About 1 in every 10 kids will develop eczema. Eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is an inflammatory skin condition characterized by red rashes that itch. It usually appears in children ages 1 to 5. Food allergies or environmental pollutants can cause eczema, but sometimes no cause is found.

Treatment: Standard treatment involves avoiding allergens and applying ointments and moisturizers. In extreme cases, your child may require prescription medication. Talk to your doctor if you suspect allergies. An allergist can help identify which allergens to avoid or which foods to eliminate.

How can you prevent allergic reactions?

The most effective way to prevent allergic reactions is to avoid allergens. Once you know what allergens your child is allergic to, ask their doctor how they can avoid them.

For example, if your child is allergic to grass, their doctor may encourage them to wear long pants and socks outside. If they’re allergic to dogs, their doctor may advise them to avoid petting them.

If they’re allergic to certain foods, their doctor will emphasize the importance of never eating them. For example, they will likely encourage you and your child to read ingredient lists, ask questions about restaurant menu items, and take steps to avoid contaminating dishes and cooking surfaces with allergens.

Our world is vastly different from that of our ancestors.  While we are more aware of environmental pollution today than ever before, we can’t avoid it.  We eat, breathe, and live in our modern environment, making the ingestion of toxins a part of everyday life!  Body Pollution (the pollution from the environment that enters our bodies) is exposing our immune systems to levels of chemicals, toxins, pollutants, and other agents our bodies were never designed to absorb. The scary truth is that we are all ingesting these negative substances every day in the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe. Together, they weaken our immune systems and contribute to many of today’s most common diseases.

So what can we do to support and maintain a healthy immune system, and be better prepared to fight off environmental invaders?  Daily supplementation with botanical extracts, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, and phytonutrients is a good start.  By giving our bodies the daily nutrition it needs, we are providing the basic building blocks for a healthy and effective immune system.

Tip.

Eating the foods high in Zinc, Omega 3,  Vitamin C, Magnesium can be beneficial. Try botanical extracts /Intra Herbal Juice/, antioxidants, Turmeric Curcumin Supplements, vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients ( NutriaPlus) too.

Understanding the “Ups” & “Downs” of Exercise
Although we are told that exercise is good for our bodies, what we are unaware of is that exercise pushes the body beyond its usual capabilities (resulting in muscle damage). With the right amount of recovery time and appropriate nutrients, the body will efficiently repair and rebuild towards an increased level of strength and endurance (this is known as the adaptation syndrome). To continually improve our level of fitness, these principles must be supported by the right amount of nutrients and antioxidants. If these essential nutrients are provided, this will boost exercise performance and reduce exercise recovery time.

During exercise, our bodies will:

• Increase the rate and amount of oxygen utilized
• Increase metabolism (burn more calories)

After a bout of exercise, our bodies will:

• Have an increased accumulation of toxins (free radicals) and by-products (lactic acid)
• A reduced physical resistance due to increased exercise demands

Safety & Benefits of Intra® for Athletes

Free Radicals & Lactic Acid – Since exercise increases the amount of oxygen used in the body, this causes an increased production of unstable molecules called free radicals. These highly reactive molecules can damage cells and are believed to be the main cause of sore aching muscles a day or two after exercise (known as delayed onset muscle soreness or DOMS).

Wastes/By Products – Since exercise increases metabolism, there is an increased production of waste and by-products. Collectively, these wastes need to be quickly eliminated and neutralized to reduce muscle soreness and improve exercise recovery.

Reduced Physical Resistance – Since we are “overloading” our bodies with physical stress, it takes time to repair and replenish the cells after exercise (this is known as exercise recovery).

Foods for better sex life

Before reaching for an erection-enhancing pill or a libido-enhancing aphrodisiac, open the fridge and examine its contents. Maybe food is the reason why nothing interesting happens in your bedroom. Foods can affect your sex life!

As strange as it may seem, sex depends on good blood circulation and a properly functioning blood circulation. This applies to both sexes and has an effect not only on good functioning, but also on satisfaction itself. Commonly known aphrodisiacs often only affect our mind, and the pills or drops themselves do not cause excitement (the so-called placebo effect), they often only work to improve blood circulation, for which we can also use more frequent consumption of certain foods.

The most important thing is to stop loading the body with a large amount of bad fats before sex and replace them with the necessary fats, which are part of the foods listed below. Getting the right balance of fats in your diet can improve your heart health too.

Foods affecting sexual function in men and women.

Vitamins, minerals and especially omega 3 fatty acids have a very positive effect on erection in men, as do foods containing L-arginine. And since women also have an erection, if we mention the swelling around the vagina and the clitoris itself during excitement, the menu is the same for the more tender half.

In case of erectile dysfunction, include in the menu:

– nuts (peanuts, walnuts, cashews, Brazil nuts)

-marine fish with a higher amount of fat

-fattier dairy products and yogurts with live cultures

-vegetables (e.g. celery, leafy greens, carrots, garlic etc.)

-soy (yogurts, tofu, soy milk and others)

-ginseng

-pumpkin, squash, sesame and other seeds

-olive oil

-seafood and oysters

-vitamin B, minerals, especially zinc, and omega 3 fatty acids

What is good for our heart is also good for our genitals. For example, more frequent consumption of soy affects the production of estrogen. In addition to the health effects of improving the course of menopause, it has a positive effect on the production of “natural lubricants” in the vagina, and in men it has a positive effect on the prostate. However, women who have experienced breast cancer should be careful, significant consumption of soy could cause its recurrence.

From spices, it is recommended to incorporate curry and ginger into dishes, spicy spices such as chilli, pepper and hotter paprika act as a natural aphrodisiac and, according to research, improve love making.

Drinks affecting the desire for sex.

Perhaps you know from your own experience, that a glass of alcohol loosens the tongue and later also other tastes. However, more alcohol can inhibit sexual appetite and make you or your partner sleepy and reduce performance (if not outright prevent an erection). For starters, white wine or a glass of sparkling wine is recommended. We’ll skip the beer, this juice quells all cravings.

A sex dessert! Give it a try.

Of the sweet spices, cinnamon is an aphrodisiac. Its aroma and effects can be served to your partner on any dessert or sprinkled on coffee or ice cream decorated with whipped cream. Chocolate also works wonders, especially bitter and best warmed to a creamy consistency.

Other factors affecting sexual performance:

-Obesity results in low testosterone levels in men and prevents the ability to have an erection.

-Hormonal imbalance and psychological factors reduce the desire for sex in women.

-Stress, certain medications, and fatigue are general sex drive killers.

-Overeating – if we want to experience a passionate night, let’s remember that we mustn’t overeat. After such a meal, we want to sleep and not perform.

Tip A.

Cook and bake from ingredients that affect your sexual appetite, like craving pineapple juice and bananas. Or do you love chocolate? Chocolate has always been associated with a feeling of happiness and love.

Tip B.

-Include in the menu cinnamon.

-Try “Flakes” with raisins, plums and cinnamon

-Herbal tonic INTRA with 23 herbs. Try a peel that contains at least 5 packs in a row.

Detox. What the experts say about detoxification. Part I.

The body already has its own detoxification system: liver, kidneys, intestines and skin. Most drastic detoxes, teas or fasting do not have strong evidence and sometimes they just throw off energy, hormones or digestion. But some herbs and habits can support digestion, blood circulation, stress and vitality, which can indirectly affect a person’s life.

Why is detoxification good?

DETOXIFICATION is a process to get your body rid of various toxins. It aids in strengthening the immune system, rejuvenate skin and boost mental health, amongst many other health benefits. Detoxifying brings balance back to your life and helps your system function correctly.

For example, detoxing the body by cutting out alcohol, cigarettes, caffeine, and refined foods is a practice that you can benefit from regularly. Many people opt for this type of detox once per month or even once per week (or more!) for greater health and wellbeing.

There could be some placebo effect, where you think you’re feeling better. But it’s more likely because you are exercising more and eating healthier. There are very few, if any, well-designed scientific studies that show a benefit to detox supplements.

The three phases of healthy detoxification are the generation of water-soluble intermediaries, the neutralization of toxic water-soluble intermediaries, and the excretion of the neutralized intermediaries. Preventing unhealthy detoxification function begins with reducing our exposure to toxins.

TIP.

Fresh lemon juice mixed with water does not have a detoxifying effect, but it has a healthy vitamin C supplement effect. If you find it difficult to drink plain water, try adding some fresh lemon juice. The taste of lemon can make you feel better and enjoy drinking more water.

Basic Detox Rules to Follow – Stay Hydrated. The cornerstone of any successful detox is proper hydration. + Herbal Teas. + Antioxidants. + Detox Smoothies. + Fiber. + Fasting Periods. + More cardio. + Probiotics. + Cut calories (Energy Drinks, Preservatives, Burnt Fats, ETC.).

How to behave if you have problems with prostate?

Around the age of 25, men’s prostate begins to enlarge. This natural growth is called benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and it is the common cause of prostate enlargement. Although 50% of men with BPH may never develop any symptoms, others find that BPH can make men’s life miserable.

If You have an enlarged prostate, Reduce the amount of fluids you drink in the evening. Urinate as soon as you get the urge. When you visit the bathroom, take your time to empty your bladder completely. Drink less energy drinks, fizzy drinks, less alcohol, caffeine and artificial sweeteners. In the evening, after 19:00, try to drink less liquid.Eat more Fiber. You should also limit your consumption of meat, dairy products and sugar. The diet should be rich in fresh vegetables and fiber, vitamin E, B, selenium, zinc, Omega 3 essential fatty acids and flaxseed.

Prevention TIPS:

1/Choose a healthy diet (fresh fruits and vegetables). Eat a variety of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Fruits and vegetables contain many vitamins, minerals that can contribute to your overall health. Preventing prostate cancer through diet is not conclusively proven. Either way, eating a healthy diet can improve your overall health. Add antioxidants and adaptogenic herbs to your diet regularly, detoxify yourself properly.

A diet suitable for prostate health should contain vitamins minerals, for example zinc, selenium, Soy-leguminous soybean, Green Tea, African plum tree or Just.

2/Exercise regularly at least 5 times a week, apply regular walks. Regular exercise improves your overall health, helps you maintain balance and improves your mood. If you are new to exercise, start slowly. Walk, jog, play tennis or jump rope.

3/Add food supplements, if you do not have a rich and balanced diet. No studies have shown that supplements play a role in reducing your risk of prostate cancer. Instead, choose foods that are rich in vitamins and minerals so that you can maintain healthy levels of vitamins in your body. Don’t forget about regular detoxification of the body. Choose safe and proven herbal preparations. Unfortunately, their effectiveness is not proven. They often act like a placebo, but even this has a positive effect on the patient’s psyche.

4/Maintain a healthy weight. If your current weight is healthy, work to maintain it by choosing a healthy diet and exercising most days of the week. If you need to lose weight, add more exercise and reduce the number of calories you eat each day. Ask your doctor for help creating a plan for healthy weight loss. try to walk and exercise (there are special exercises to strengthen the prostate) – it won’t work without movement and exercise.

5/If you have an enlarged prostate, visit your urologist regularly and order a PSA blood level test. What are acceptable values? For men between 40 and 49, the upper limit is 2.5 ng/ml, men from 50 to 59 have the upper limit at 3.5 ng/ml, for men from 60 to 69 it is 4.5 ng/ml . and for men over 70, the limit value is 6.5 ng/ml.

Talk to your doctor about your increased risk of prostate cancer. If you have a very high risk of prostate cancer in your family, you and your doctor may consider medications or other treatments to reduce your risk.

6/Urine should be colorless. If you have dark urine, increase your fluid intake, 1.5 litres a day. If you are prone to the formation of kidney stones up to 2.5 liters of fluids a day – unsweetened drinks.

7/Regular and frequent love making is very beneficial for the male prostate. But even men without a partner do not have to be afraid of a malignant tumor of the prostate gland, it is enough if they regularly ejaculate daily during masturbation. And above all, exercise daily. Regular exercise doubles the chance of surviving prostate cancer.

8/ Advice for children and adolescent patients. Limit sugary and energy drinks. You are at risk of obesity, which is a risk factor. Another risk is infection. In young people around puberty, urological problems are associated with a promiscuous sex life. Not only is there a risk of infection, but there is also the risk of STDs, chaldemia and mycoplasma. Girls are at risk of cervical cancer and boys of the penis. Think carefully. Prevention is key.

Have you been recommended prostate surgery due to its enlargement (hyperplasia)? There is a Unique hot steam treatment – Prostate reduction without surgery. Mini-invasive, gentle procedure performed on an outpatient basis. You can leave immediately after the procedure.

Prostate cancer. How You can reduce your risk of prostate cancer?

Visit your urologist regularly and check your PSA blood level.

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption, stress, smoking, overeating and prolonged stress.

Prostate cancer is cancer that occurs in the prostate. The prostate is a small walnut-shaped gland in males that produces the seminal fluid that nourishes and transports sperm. Prostate cancer is one of the most common types of cancer. Many prostate cancers grow slowly and are confined to the prostate gland, where they may not cause serious harm. However, while some types of prostate cancer grow slowly and may need minimal or even no treatment, other types are aggressive and can spread quickly. Prostate cancer that’s detected early with PSA Blood Test ( Prostate-specific antigen (PSA))— when it’s still confined to the prostate gland — has the best chance for successful treatment.

Signs and symptoms

Trouble urinating, decreased force in the stream of urine, blood in the urine, blood in the semen, erectile dysfunction, losing weight without trying and Bone pain. Prostate cancer may cause no signs or symptoms in its early stages.

Make an appointment with your doctor if you have any persistent signs or symptoms that worry you. Surgery is one option in the treatment of prostate cancer.

Causes

It’s not clear what causes prostate cancer.

Doctors know that prostate cancer begins when cells in the prostate develop changes in their DNA. A cell’s DNA contains the instructions that tell a cell what to do. The changes tell the cells to grow and divide more rapidly than normal cells do. The abnormal cells continue living, when other cells would die.

The accumulating abnormal cells form a tumor that can grow to invade nearby tissue. In time, some abnormal cells can break away and spread (metastasize) to other parts of the body.

Risk factors

Please read the factors that can increase your risk of prostate cancer:

Older age. Your risk of prostate cancer increases as you age. It’s most common after age 50. Cancer of the prostate and kidney occurs most often from the age of 60.

An enlarged prostate is individual and not decisive. The normal size of the prostate is about 20ml, it can be larger. The deformation of the urethra, which passes through the prostate, is especially important. Bladder performance is also important (the bladder is a pump).

Family history. If a blood relative, such as a parent, sibling or child, has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, your risk may be increased. Also, if you have a family history of genes that increase the risk of breast cancer (BRCA1 or BRCA2) or a very strong family history of breast cancer, your risk of prostate cancer may be higher.

Obesity. People who are obese may have a higher risk of prostate cancer compared with people considered to have a healthy weight, though studies have had mixed results. In obese people, the cancer is more likely to be more aggressive and more likely to return after initial treatment.

Complications

Incontinence. Both prostate cancer and its treatment can cause urinary incontinence. Treatment for incontinence depends on the type you have, how severe it is and the likelihood it will improve over time. Treatment options may include medications, catheters and surgery.

Erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction can result from prostate cancer or its treatment, including surgery, radiation or hormone treatments. Medications, vacuum devices that assist in achieving erection and surgery are available to treat erectile dysfunction.

Cancer that spreads (metastasizes). Prostate cancer can spread to nearby organs, such as your bladder, or travel through your bloodstream or lymphatic system to your bones or other organs. Prostate cancer that spreads to the bones can cause pain and broken bones. Once prostate cancer has spread to other areas of the body, it may still respond to treatment and may be controlled, but it’s unlikely to be cured.
